The Bièvre

The Bièvre follows a winding path along cliffs and narrow wet zones as it flows through a narrow valley. It can be subject to abrupt flooding. In periods when the water is at average or low level, small islets can form, bounded by the river's edge. The location of its discharge into the Seine probably varied.
