Denis Vialou (1944-)
Professor at Muséum national d'histoire naturelle, Denis Vialou studies the symbolic activities and practices of Upper Pleistocene hunter-gatherers. The sites at which he has worked are located in France (Lascaux, Font-de-Gaume) and Spain, as well as in Brazil (Mato Grosso region). He is the author of several books on prehistory and cave art.
