There is an abundance of varied documents relating to Alesia, the excavations at Alise-Sainte-Reine and the associated controversy. They include photographs, documentary records, maps, archaeological surveys, press cuttings, books and offprints.
Thousands of documents are conserved by the documentary resources department, some of which are accessible online in the collection of sources. The archive collections are available to see on prior appointment.
