This Mesopotamian palace dating from the 2nd millennium (c. 2000-1760 BCE) is the best-preserved example of its kind. It was discovered in 1935 and excavated until 1938 by André Parrot, who described it in detail. Fieldwork continued until 2010. We can now use this body of research to reconstruct the palace.
