An action plan to rehabilitate the museum
In November 2019, the Musée du Louvre submitted a detailed action plan to the Iraqi authorities, based on a complete inventory of the building and collections of the Mosul Cultural Museum. In coordination with all the project partners, this action plan set out all the stages needed for the rehabilitation, from emergency measures to the complete reopening of the museum. This multi-year roadmap established a timetable, a distribution of tasks and a provisional budget for this ambitious rehabilitation project.
