- Dissemination and promotion
The scientific team, studying the wall art and archeology of Chauvet-Pont d'Arc Cave, is made up of thirty researchers from various laboratories.
The researchers act at different levels depending on the nature of their involvement:
- members of the multidisciplinary team (archaeologists, cave art specialists, palaeontologists, geologists, geomorphologues, geochemists), fully engaged in the research during the two annual field campaigns;
- specialists ocassionally involved in specific analyses based on research issues (physicists on datings, ethologists, art historians, ethnologists, artists, etc.);
- foreign researchers and members of international committees in the framework of scientific knowledge and exchange.
