Rhinoceros and the Felines

The first part of the left-hand wall in the End Chamber ends in a long panel depicting three interlaced felines and two rhinoceroses. The felines are drawn in the same composition and range of colours as the Three Lions Panel that precedes them. Of the two rhinoceroses, one is complete and the other evoked simply by an engraving of oversized horns. The first is similar to that at the entrance to the chamber, depicted in drawing using the stump technique and an engraved outline. The wall is abundantly lacerated by bear clawmarks.
