On the last level of the Megaloceros Gallery, several decorated panels face each other. On the left-hand wall, a bison facing the exit has been drawn on a surface that forms a natural frame. The surface was first prepared by scraping  probably with the flat of the hand  in order to make the limestone more homogeneous and less plastic. This action may also have served to erase earlier bear clawmarks which can still be seen in the lower part of the panel. The horns of a bison can be seen above the whole animal, but it has been partially erased by rubbing.
