ω-shaped signs

This red sign takes the form of a ω with rounded curves. It is painted on the front edge of the panel, clearly visible, between the fourth and fifth rhinoceros of the upper frieze. About a dozen signs of this type are known in the cave, in the Red Panels Gallery, the Hillaire Chamber and the End Chamber. Four are painted in red while the others are engraved.
