Behind the Panel of Hand Stencils is a narrow space, with a floor covered in orangeish calcite. The rounded left-hand wall is decorated with three animals accompanied by a dot and red lines. Two deer (undoubtedly a female megaloceros and her calf) are expressed by a few lines nicely applied to supplement the natural relief. However, the small red bear is in no way a result of the underlying rock: it is a masterpiece depicting the details of the species in the emblematic style of the cave.
