In the middle of the Skull Chamber, the silhouette of a mammoth facing left is engraved 2 m above the floor in a depression. The profile of the head is formed by a fissure and natural relief. This mammoth has another unique aspect: it is the only one in the cave with its winter coat, indicated by a series of vertical lines beneath the stomach.
