This large rhinoceros (1.18 m long) is painted in red, on the right-hand side. It is drawn as though standing on the horizontal fissure that marks the base of the panel. Fine engravings, only visible in oblique light, emphasise the details of the coat and head. The paint has suffered from water flows which have made the lines less clear and perhaps destroyed the rear part of the animal.
