Hand Dots

This group of five hand-dots is located 0.5 m above and to the left of the first rhinoceros in the frieze, on the overhanging part of the wall. Despite the obliqueness of the vault and the resulting deformation, it appears that these are five right hands. The imprints form a rectangular composition, with four hands marking the angles together with a further imprint in the centre, which is also the only one to show the traces of two "parasite" fingers.
