In the depths of the Gallery of the Crosshatching, around 20 traces of human feet distributed across an area around 70 m in length have been noted. Their regular spacing and size (36) have led to their interpretation as the prints of an adolescent walking with bare feet and coming from the back of the gallery. The trail follows a path under a low ceiling (1.20 m above the trail). Torch smears, dating to 30,000 years ago indicate that this trail is probably attributable to Gravettian incursions. They may also serve as markers.
