Bison on the corner

To the right of the Lion Panel, a black bison is placed on the edge of a large opening. The body and the head, seen from the front, are painted on two perpendicular surfaces. In this way, the artist succeeded in creating the illusion of a work in three dimensions with the animal appearing to follow the spectator with its eyes.
