The largest collection comes from Corridor 108 of the palace of Mari, west of Court 106. This collection includes 32 miniature epigraphic livers with 42 omens written on them, which are the oldest-known models, and a small anepigraphic spleen. These schematic livers were used as aide mémoires for experienced divinatory priests and models for apprentices.
