Mould-pressed terracotta reliefs

Mould-pressed terracotta reliefs. Mari
8473

Mould-pressed terracotta reliefs, mostly from the slave quarters (H and G). Selected examples in which the type of kaunakes clothing indicates the special status of the figures: in the upper register, a bearded deity and a figure with a polos and an axe; in the lower register, two male deities standing on a mountain, on either side of a twisted mast with astral emblems, with a lion at their feet.

The lower part of the modelled nude female figurine and the couple of straw-drinkers seen from the front belong to other series.
