Chimney flue in the southwest corner, view from door 12-7. Room 7, like the entire area, was "in a state of conservation unique in the annals of Near Eastern archaeology” when re-excavated (Parrot, 1958) with walls surviving from 2.75 m to 3.25 m in height. The flue was made of interlocking terracotta sleeves.
