Although wet room 7 is located in Area L (extension of the House of Women and control post), it is part of services area O and adjoins the kitchen with ovens 70, of which the door with its 2.40-metre-high lintel is visible on the right. The low dividing wall was actually higher and levelled during excavation, and the presence of a socket indicates that the door could have been closed from inside. As previously, the tiled floor was waterproofed with bitumen, as was the plinth. Although no drain pit was found – it was probably under the toilet – there was a depression near the centre of the room.
