Crossroads of the Voie Sacrée (radial street) and the Rue de la Maquette (intersecting street), of which part of the stone-paved floor has survived in the centre: the top of the upright slabs is slightly above ground level. These were used to lay out the road, attesting to the fact that the city was designed prior to the construction of its buildings.
