Tabular scrapers like this one, presumably produced in workshops on the edge of the desert in Jordan, have been found in the lithic industry of City I of Mari, at Site B and at the Pec site. They attest to the mass dissemination of these tools as far as northern Mesopotamia, via the Euphrates valley, during the first third of the 3rd millennium.
