Vist the site : Maritime archaeology of the Normandy landings
The bow of the ship, to the north, is lying entirely to port, with the highest part rising 3 m from the seabed.
The stem which is fairly well preserved, and a hoist and loading mast are also present.
In the centre of the wreck, the frames of the hull are visible on the east side and are about 2.5 m high.
The stern is resting at a depth of 26.5 m and rises almost 8 m above the seabed. Large fairleads and cleats can be seen, as well as a large hoist that still has a cogwheel.
Rectangular openings (about 2m by 1m) in the deck are visible and may correspond to the passages from one deck to another.
