The 8th, it struck a mine portside, opening a 20 m breach, killing 35 and wounding 50. The next day, an aerial bomb also damaged the ship, which finally broke in two and sank. It was scrapped in 1960 by the Van Loo company. Today, its remains are dispersed over 65 metres.
