Eugène Millet, the architect coordinating the restoration of the château of Saint-Germain, was also responsible for creating the furnishings and fittings for the museum displays. This plate from 1866 shows plans for flat display cases designed to hold models of menhirs and dolmens made by Abel Maître, for room 2 on the first floor.
