These images show the different steps involved in making a statuette with a mould made from elastomer. Once the impression of the original statuette and the mould have been made, a cast is made by pouring resin into the two halves of the mould, closing the mould, and then removing the cast from the mould. Afterwards, the mould is cleaned and can be reused.
