This engraving, produced by Minne, was published in L'Illustration on 2 September 1871. It shows the second floor of the château, fitted out to allow the presentation of the museum’s ever-growing collections. New rooms containing exhibitions continued to open as the restoration of the château progressed between 1862 and 1907.
