These plates showing the Neolithic site at Gavrinis are from Album noir no. 15. The albums noirs are topographical documentary files containing documents (primarily pictorial documents stuck to pages) organised by region, commune, and finally, by site.

First, the cairn is shown in its entirety, then in section and plan views. The subsequent plates show the engraved stones which decorate the dolmen corridor and burial chamber.

These documents, conserved in Album noir no. 15, are copies of plates intended for the Dictionnaire archéologique published by the commission.
