This plate is taken from the Album Chantre, named by its author Études paléoethnologiques dans le Bassin du Rhône. Âge du Bronze. Dessins inédits. It is illustrated with drawings of a bracelet and of heads of Bronze Age axes belonging to private collections in Grenoble. Like Revon and Cournault, Ernest Chantre collected evidence of archaeological objects in his region, in response to the needs of the Commission de Topographie des Gaules.
