Pierced stick discovered by Édouard Lartet and Henry Christy during excavation of the Magdalenian layers (ca. 15,000 years BP) in the La Madeleine Shelter at Tursac (Dordogne). This stick, which was perhaps used to straighten sagaie points, was made from reindeer antler and then decorated with low-relief engravings. Each side depicts a line of horses with large heads and jaws.
A cast of this object is displayed in the Palaeolithic Gallery of the National Archaeology Museum - Domaine national de Saint-Germain-en-Laye.
