This is the only human figure depicted at Lascaux. The masculine stick figure with a bird's head and prominent sex is falling backwards, away from a charging bison. Above, we can make out a bird perched on a stick. In certain primitive and ancient societies, the bird has the role of a psychopomp, one who guides souls to the afterlife.
