Fibula with the effigy of Pazuzu

The image of the demon Pazuzu is found on everyday objects such as this bronze fibula conserved in the British Museum. At the other end is a female figure with her hands crossed over her chest. At the bottom of the arms are two ram’s heads above the apex of the fibula. The clasp is in the form of a human hand. The pin is missing. (Mesopotamia, 700-600 BCE, Museum number 1992,0516.1)
