This limestone stela (kudurru) probably comes from Babylonia, although it was discovered in Susa. It represents the goddess of medicine, Gula, in a seated position, as well as her animal symbol, the dog. At the top are the symbols of the gods.
(1899-1902 BCE, Susa, Louvre, Sb 27, excavations of Jacques de Morgan).
