Storage vase (Saint-Denis, Place du Général de Gaulle, 2019)

Archaeologists discovered large, semi-buried storage vases in an area of lean-to structures. Their use has yet to be established. This type of ceramic ware was produced in Provence during the 18th century. These vases were loaded onto boats to store foodstuffs, including salt meat.
