This area was occupied by buildings constructed on wooden posts. The postholes have left a trace where they used to stand in the sandy substrate. Overlapping with other structures – a building on flashing and a light course of aligned stones – suggests the site was intensively occupied, entailing the restructuring of the buildings, perhaps due to sand encroachment.
