Kitchen (Saint-Paul, Cap Champagne, 2016)

2990

Finds discovered inside the building suggest it was probably used as a kitchen serving the nearby habitation. The lookout archives mention a small kitchen away from the main house. It may have stood against the natural rocky massif to protect it from the southern winds. The two quadrangular structures at the front of the building may have been part of a system that stabilised a lookout signal mast.
