The branch with a clover design was found in 2019, close to the Caserne Lambert barracks during a geotechnical survey. The basalt stela was found in an archaeological test trench opened in 2020 in the same sector. Associated with human bones, this grave find dated to the 19^th century comes from what was probably the Cimetière des Blancs (no. 11 on the earlier map of 1808) and was reused during works on the Caserne in the 1960s.
