A makeshift dry-stone feature under a large rock on the edge of a waterway was probably a temporary shelter used by a single individual who came here to farm, fish or gather. The block used for the shelter was probably the substructure of a roof made from a perishable material. Inside the shelter, archaeologists found a hearth circled with stones and food deposits.
