Following the discovery of human remains during the excavation of the Caverne Lépinay in 2015, archaeologists will continue their scientific and technical investigation of sites in Les Hauts, due to the risk of disturbance. The sparse remains shed little light on the conditions under which the cave occupants died or the funerary practices of those who buried them.
