"Archéologie australe" hoardings

11300

Every year since 2010, a series of "archéologie australe" hoardings have been used to provide the public with an overview of the most interesting archaeological operations. "Archéologie australe" is a style guide jointly produced by the graphic artist Pascal Knoepfel and the lead regional archaeology conservationist in Réunion, Édouard Jacquot. The name can be used to promote all operations carried out in the Indian Ocean: Réunion, Mayotte and the French Southern and Antarctic Territories. Some forty hoardings are regularly displayed in the territory to mark a variety of events in Réunion and Mayotte.
