The superiority of this work comes from, among other things, the regularity of its structuring lines, the extreme precision in the lumbar division of the coat, and the concise anatomical outlines and their individuation.
The painting technique used to make this yellow and black animal took advantage of the relatively fine grain of the wall. All of the contour lines were done with a brush; the other pictorial elements, mane and coat, were obtained via the spray technique. The background limbs are fully detached from the body, a treatment that is applied to most of the animal figures in an effort to suggest depth.
The background contains no less than five figures distributed around the edge of this representation of a horse, including a square red sign and two yellow branching signs.
