Grave 218 in Mouci Yeri was excavated and studied by Jacques de Morgan. These various working documents correspond to different stages of his research.

The sketch was made as a draft directly in the field. It contains all the information Morgan wanted to record. The final record is based on this sketch, but adapted for publication. The “inventaire” document, in contrast, was intended to demonstrate its worth to visitors and was displayed next to a group of objects to shed light on them.
