The camp where habitations U5 and P15 were located was set up on the inside of the meander of an ancient water channel, possibly the ancient bed of the Ruisseau des Hauldres. The main habitation, U5, was slightly elevated and located on a large, flat area. Its neighbour, P15, was located at the top of the bank. The outdoor hearths lay alongside the water channel, further down. It is not possible to know if this channel contained flowing water or was dry at the time the site was occupied.
