This was produced by an apprentice knapper who was using a recovered core that was already well-used. The work shows many signs of clumsiness and unnecessary heavy-handedness on the part of the knapper. The striking platforms on the core have suffered a lot of damage, as have the surfaces from which the blades have been removed.
