Every year in June, during the excavation season, the departmental authorities in Essonne, the owner of the archaeological site, organise two open days for France’s National Archaeology Days. Hundreds of visitors come for guided visits of the excavation site and storerooms (where remains are conserved), talks, small exhibitions, performances about prehistory, and fun educational workshops organised by ArkéoMédia, specialists in introducing the work of archaeologists to new audiences.
