Model on a scale of 1:50 based on plans by François Anus, by the sculptor M. Prévost. It was presented in the Syria and Lebanon pavilion at the Paris Colonial Exhibition of 1931.

Saone castle is another Crusader fortress in Syria. It was inscribed on the World Heritage List jointly with the Krak des Chevaliers in 2006.
