Animals frequented this chamber after the Palaeolithic. These included a mustelidae, which has been C14 dated (3348-3450 calBP). No claw marks have been found, such as those it would have left trying to leave the cave by the current access route. This means that there was direct access to the Morel Chamber for small animals.
