This chamber is currently accessed via a long, narrow tunnel, which remains between concretions. On the vault is the trace of an old stalactite that has been broken, probably to create an artificial passage between the Morel Chamber and the Chauvet cave. It cannot have been easy to break, so this is evidence of strong Palaeolithic motivation.
