Strike and dip of the limestone layers and water circulation

Pendage des couches calcaires et circulation des eaux
10949

The collapsed ceiling emphasises the geological strike and dip descending towards the right of the photo (west in the cave). This is one of the few places in the cave where this is properly visible. The strike and dip plays an important role in the circulation of water coming into the cavity.
