Mammoth Pendant

10937

Three metres from the entrance to the Cactus Gallery, a mammoth facing the back is represented an a rocky pendant. The survey allows the shape of the animal to be identified, as well as finger-traced signs with double or triple lines. There are identical signs further on, on the right-hand wall of the Cactus Gallery or on the left-hand wall of the Panel of the Red Bear. These traces bear witness to dynamic work on the wall.
