Scratched mammoths on the right hand wall

Mammouths raclés de la paroi droite
10810

The 5 m long panel of the scratched Mammoths occupies the surface originally covered in bistre clay, the lower part of which has suffered. The natural relief evoking the stomach and front part of one of the mammoths seem to have inspired the artists. These forms have even given the animal its dynamic posture.
